What’s the value of an idea?

Ideas, well they are not worth much unless you do something about it!

How many times have you heard ideas being thrown about as if there was innate value in the very words being mentioned behind the idea.

The short answer is an idea has no value, well not until that idea starts to progress beyond a vision and into the realm of execution. And a well executed idea is certainly something of value…

If you take:
(an average idea x great execution = $$ value)
(5 x $1,000,000 = $5,000,000)

I love Derek Sivers 2009 article that ideas are just a multiplier of execution, this simple truth doesn’t date.
